Origami Bloom Help and Support

Document date: 2026-10-24

For help with Origami Bloom learning controls, purchase access or privacy, contact support@aelory.com. Include “Origami Bloom” in the email subject so we can identify your app and issue. Guardians should assist with children's purchase and privacy requests.

Browsing and favoriting models

Search model names on the browse page or filter by type. After changing the interface language, search using the model names shown in the current interface.

Tap the star at the top of the learning page to favorite a model; tap it again to remove the favorite. Back on the browse page, tap the star entry to view favorites. Favorites are stored on the current device.

Playback and viewing steps

Playback pauses at the end of the current teaching step. Drag the wheel to move forward or backward. At a step boundary, drag a little farther to feel a distinct vibration and continue into the adjacent step. The action buttons beside play also jump across steps.

The two outer buttons switch complete teaching steps. You can also open the step directory at the bottom left of the three-dimensional viewport; selecting a step starts it from its beginning and leaves playback paused. A step may contain several consecutive actions.

Changing language keeps the current position. Returning within one minute restores the paused position; after one minute the course resets. Local state does not sync or migrate to another device. Restoring Apple purchases does not restore local records.

Adjusting the three-dimensional view

Drag with one finger in the three-dimensional viewport to change the viewing direction of the paper model. Pinch with two fingers to move the camera closer or farther away, and move two fingers together to reposition the view. The app determines the main intent when a gesture starts and keeps one mode during that operation; to change modes, lift your fingers and start again.

The “Reset view” button in the viewport restores a convenient viewing angle without changing the teaching step or current playback position.

The three-dimensional display demonstrates the folding process. If your actual paper differs in size, thickness or state, adjust to the real paper; use scissors and other tools safely, and guide children under guardian supervision.

Paper and backgrounds

Tap the style button in the three-dimensional viewport to choose paper patterns and background scenes. The front and back of the paper form a color scheme; style options are shown as images.

Courses with a dedicated color scheme use it by default. You can choose a pattern, restore the course colors with the palette icon, or choose neutral paper with the disabled symbol. Paper choices are saved separately for each course. The disabled symbol beside the background heading removes the background image.

Language and haptic feedback

Under “Settings → Language”, choose “Follow system” or select a language manually. The default follows the system; if the system's preferred language is unsupported, subsequent supported languages are matched, ultimately falling back to English. A manual choice takes effect immediately and is stored locally; you can return to following the system at any time.

Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Brazilian Portuguese and European Portuguese are provided separately. Arabic and Urdu display the interface right to left, but the physical directions of folding actions, paper visuals and gestures are not mirrored with text direction.

If you do not want vibration during use, turn off haptic feedback in settings.

Free content and one-time purchase

Free introductory models marked in the app can be learned in full. The first three complete teaching steps of other models are available to try free of charge; unlocking is required from the fourth complete step onward. Actions within a step are not charged separately.

One purchase unlocks Origami Bloom's paid origami teaching content, including content added to this app in future and its updates. It is not an automatically renewing subscription. The actual product and price are as shown on the App Store purchase confirmation screen.

If an order is awaiting approval, wait for Apple to finish processing; do not treat a pending status as a completed purchase. If the store cannot currently be reached or the product is unavailable, check your connection and try again. Paid content stays locked until the purchase is confirmed.

Restoring purchases

With a network connection, use the Apple account originally used for the purchase under “Settings → Restore purchases”. No separate Origami Bloom account registration is needed; eligible paid access is restored.

If the purchase still cannot be found, first check your Apple account and whether the order was completed. You can give support the app name, purchase item and approximate purchase date to help troubleshoot; do not send your Apple account password or payment card details. Family Sharing and restoration on other devices depend on the features actually supported by Apple and the relevant purchase.

Restoring purchases does not restore favorites, language, styles or learning-page state deleted or stored only on another device. Reinstalling the app may clear this local data, so we do not recommend deleting the app before troubleshooting the issue.

Refunds

For purchases charged by Apple, follow Apple's refund instructions and submit a request at reportaproblem.apple.com. Refund eligibility varies by purchase and region. We can help with content access issues, but cannot approve refunds on Apple's behalf. Applicable statutory consumer rights remain preserved.

Reporting visual or step issues

If a step does not load, a demonstration is unclear or there is a visual issue, tell us the model name, step name, playback position when it happened, and whether the issue also occurs when replaying. Attach a screenshot if needed; obscure unrelated personal information before sending.

If convenient, also provide the device model, iOS version and app version. Do not send passwords, payment card details, identity documents, children's names or other unnecessary personal information. We will not ask for audio recordings of children to troubleshoot origami display issues.
